My experience with my total knee replacement from beginning to end has been wonderful. From constant pain and discomfort to today not even noticing my knee as being any different from normal, the transformation has been incredible.
Mr Joshi from the first clinical meeting has always been calm and reassuring with an amazing smile to put your fears at rest. His manner has always been exemplary in every way. He explained everything about the operation and aftercare really well.
There was some pain afterwards but that was well managed by the nursing staff and I looking forward to Mr Joshi sorting my other knee out too.
I should mention that the care I received from all of the nursing, physio and catering staff was absolutely first class.

Me Joshi is an amazing consultant and surgeon.
He explained everything that was going to happen to me, listened to my concerns..
He visited me both before and after the operation which again helped me to feel confident. He is very easy to talk to and answered all my questions.
It is now 8 weeks after my operation, it has been a complete success.
Thank you Me Joshie, you have made a huge improvement to my quality of life.

Mr. Joshi was very easy to talk to and showed an interest in me as a person and a patient. He remembered conversations we held 12 months ago and I found this very professional . The X-ray of my knee looked like a text book drawing and I'm very grateful .

Mr Joshi took care of my 15-year-old son who had never experienced anything like this before. He listened carefully to all of our concerns and showed great compassion. He also fully explained to us what was going on, and what we could expect, and was incredibly supportive. I can't recommend or thank Mr Joshi enough for his warm, kindly and above all professional approach and his care.

He listened to me, but not just about my symptoms but also how they impinged on my basic daily activities , and therefore tailored my care accordingly. This allowed me to take all information required, both written and oral which helped me choose the right procedure for me.

Mr Yogesh Joshi is a trauma and orthopaedic consultant at Wrexham Maelor hospital since 2016. He specialises in all aspects of knee surgery. He takes pride in the quality of care offered to his patients. He works closely with an excellent multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. He undertakes various knee opertations including knee arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), ACL reconstruction, cartilage repair, meniscal repair, total knee replacement, partial knee replacements, high tibial osteotomy, multiligament reconstruction of the knee and surgery for recurrent dislocation of patella. In addition he undertakes all kind of trauma surgery when he is on call.
